New Affordable Denim Lines at Flourish!

We all wear jeans...we need them, we love them, we are always looking for the perfect pair...and when you find them you must jump on them! Well, the same goes for a boutique buyer....we are always on the hunt for the perfect jeans. I found one line/collection at a recent buying show. And then over the holidays I stumbled upon another line at a boutique in the south, where I was boutique researching while there visiting family:)

To me the perfect jeans are the following:

• They fit great! The most important part by far! Jeans must fit and flatter...this causes many of us to pay a small fortune for pricey designer jeans, in the hopes that Citizens of Humanity, Seven for All Mankind, Hudson, or David Kahn know better how to make our tushes look cute and perky while somehow still making us look and feel skinny....this brings me to my next criteria...
• to be truly perfect however, I feel that a denim line should NOT have to cost a fortune! Therefore I set out to get the look of a designer pair of jeans for the price of Levis! And I believe I have misssion accomplished...Introducing our two new lines: Divine Rights of Denim and Cello Jeans! Divine Rights of Denim run around $75 and Cello run around $67 for a pair.
• Lastly, I believe that while basic jeans in dark washes are important and flattering, as a boutique we also need to offer specialty denim...denim with details and nuances that really set our customers apart. Therefore I selected these lines based on some of the details they deliver too...like a pair of Divine Rights that have little zippers at the ankle and a pair of Cello Jeans with artistic pockets and contrast stitching!

Want to know more about each line? Here is a little info! DRD is a line of jeans made at the same factory as other pricier designer lines...call it the Toyota/Lexus situation or whatever you like, but the bottom line is you can save some cash by getting a pair of these jeans made by the same company! Also, this line is partly designed and faced by Audrina from the Hills! Cello Jeans is less well known, but oh so cute! Cello was founded fairly recently but quickly became a leader in affordable, designer looking denim. They also make cute tops and velour tracksuits and things of that nature that you will find soon at Flourish and www.FlourishBoutique.com

Are You Looking for the Samuel Dong Bubble Coat?

We here at Flourish Boutique have carried the Samuel Dong Bubble Coat. They did discontinue production of the original design after the Spring 2009 Collection. Currently we have just a precious few colors left of the original design so you can check our website www.FlourishBoutique.com or call 574-277-PINK for more info on that. However, we are all sold out of the original black version. That being said there are a few options for you!

1. Samuel Dong did make new versions and styles of the coat...one is a bubble coat with pleated sleeves and a collar that lays down instead of standing up like the original version. We can get you this coat in black, white, red, sangria, or purple.
2. Joseph Ribkoff, which is another brand that we carry here at FLOURISH, has since made an identical coat to the original Bubble Coat and we have it! So if you feel like you absolutely must have the original design...you CAN get it...the catch: Joseph Ribkoff is a more expensive line and you will have to pay quite a bit more for it...but still many people are opting for this.
3. Samuel Dong also made some other coat designs this season like a beautiful ruffle coat, which you can view too on our website. It comes in the fall 2009 color options black, white, sangria, red, or purple.
4. Lastly, I just got back from a buying show where I got to see the Spring 2010 Samuel Dong Collection. The new coat styles for this upcoming season are fabulous! And they can start shipping as soon as 12/1/09, such that our customers can expect to get them somewhere after the first week of December and there is a good chance (although we cant guarantee at this time) that you could have one for Christmas. The new styles are so pretty; but my favorite is style, Coat 1 as pictured below. As you will notice the spring colors are Black and white of course, and then Bubblegum Pink, Bay Blue (Aqua), and Pistachio (like a mint green). They are similar to last years colors but softer and prettier in my opinion. You can order any of the four styles shown in any of the five colors. More Jewelry This Week at FLOURISH!

Hello FLOURISH-FANS!

This week, we have made way for double the jewelry selection!

You may have noticed the beautiful chandelier paintings in our front room at FLOURISH over the past few months...we had three of these stunning pieces in a beautiful glass case as well. (If you have not checked out these paintings....YOU NEED TO DO SO...they are stunning!)

But, we decided to hang these on the walls, thereby freeing up double the display case room for our jewelry. We now have 6 additional shelves that will be brimming over with sparkling goodies for you to lust after:)

Samuel Dong is Famous for their beautiful Bubble Trench Coat. This year, for Fall 2009, they changed the look a bit and opted for this stunning new version. The fresh look is a Ruffle Coat, instead of the Bubble Coat. It is still incredibly flattering and looks truly couture once on.
