Flourish in the News!

You might just say our store is FLOURISHING already!

On Wednesday, June 25th 3 outfits from our boutique, were featured by Kathy Friend, a wardrobe consultant and personal shopper, on the WSBT morning news! Kathy (shown on the left) is a local celebrity: she has been helping women in Michiana look and feel amazing for several years now and she has quickly risen to be the most respected and trusted stylist in Northern Indiana. In fact she has clients all over the US: thus, it is a really flattering and exciting thing that our products were not only featured on television, but hand picked by such a talented and diehard shopper:)

So you may be asking what things did she feature on the WSBT fashion segment?
When our website launches on Tuesday July 8th, you will be able to purchase the items she personally recommends. They are as follows:

1. Short Suit, as Kathy Called it. This two piece outfit(shown below) is composed of a kahaki/tan colored matching jacket and cropped pants both by Style NY. The Jacket has a button down front, a tie with a patterned silk backing, and a sexy open back cut out. The pants are what you might call riding pants and have a small cuff and some pleated details.

2. White Eyelet Top: This top is a white eyelet top(shown partially below) by Rebecca Taylor and features 3/4 length sleeves, a V style neckline, and beautiful embellished details. At the point of the V neckline rest a cluster of crystals and pearls, several of which are delicately covered in lace/netting. This is a huge trend right now: to cover beads and crystals with lace in details of clothing and jewelry. And the best part about this beautiful top..... it was featured in the July issue of In Style Magazine as a must have.

3. Black Palazzo Pants and White Sheet Top, as Kathy Called it.
The top in this outfit was an off white ruffled wrap top by Style NY. This top (shown below on the left hand model) is lovely as it comes complete with two layers: the outer layer is somewhat sheer, and has a breezy crinkly feel. The inner layer is a modest cami in the same tone that makes sure no straps or other private details are showing through. The pants.... They are fabulous! The black cropped pants are like capris but have a wideleg style, and are therefore called Palazzo pants. Yet unlike unflattering sweat-like palazzo's these have structure and built in tummy support with a little bit higher waist. They are by Samuel Dong and the best part about them is that they are under $40! Kathy featured them in black on the show, but we carry them in a light colored khaki and dark brown as well. These are a must have and will take you right into fall.

I will have to say that I wore the open back shirt (minus the matching pants) to a Wisconsin Bar, Gordys with black cargo like shorts and heels.

I got so many compliments on the shirt that people asked where I purchased it at and that I looked like a model!

So your shirt went over very well.

PS--wearing it without a bra is fine no matter your size, the shirt holds up very well!

Thanks Vanessa :-)
