Intern-al Investigation!

Our store name, Flourish, was chosen not only because it could reference ornamentation on clothing, but also because it suggests a woman blossoming into the woman she is intended to be. We always aim to not only help women feel good on the outside, but also on the inside.  With that mission in mind, it makes sense that we would happily nurture interns here at Flourish, as it is a great way for our company to help women blossom and grow.  This past month, we were blessed to have an intern named Becca.

Becca, is a fashion student at Columbia College in Chicago.  During her time with us, she helped plan, style, and run the Deade-nt Fashion Show event and also helped establish relationships with bloggers all over the US.  She also did some great merchandising and assisted in a buying appointment, among other fun things.
Here she is getting the outfits in order before our big show.

Becca really helped us a lot, but her time here has already started influencing her steps in progressing her Fashion Career.  From seeing the blogs of other fashionistas, she was inspired to start her own blog.  Check it out here at http://www.beccainblack.blogspot.com/  Several of her posts include items from Flourish including the below outfit.  And, in general I think her experience really helped her see the inner workings of a fashion boutique and added to her resume.

Becca wearing a Flourish top and Flourish Seven Skinny Jeans.
And, before Becca left, I asked her to make up several polyvore outfits from Flourish clothing and accessories, such that I could share her styling with all of you!  Here's several of my favorites:

The Taylor Swift outfit (Becca loves her music and style!): top, necklace, jeans, clutch.
The Sweet Southwest Outfit: Dress new at Flourish!
Miss Patriotic Outfit: Dress and Bracelets from Flourish.
Mod Outfit: Dress and Shoulder Bag from Flourish.
So, with that, we bid Becca farewell for now...and we wish her much love and success.  May her life be filled with family, friends, faith, and fashion....and we hope she flourishes always:)

XOXO, Vanessa and the Flourish girls
