Golden Globes: Steal Her Look!

The Golden Globes kicked off last night on the red carpet, where we swoon, we ooh, we ahh, and we pick our jaws up off the floor. Is she really wearing that? Yes...yes she is. While watching lady after lady strike a pose, I couldn't help but see some beautiful similarities between the actresses gown choice and some Flourish favorites! Here are just a few dresses we saw last night that you can copy and wear on your own special occasion!

We are loving this muted dress with a sweetheart neckline that made an appearance last night! The empire waistline accents the smallest part of her body, and the hints of sparkle just make us swoon. Our Fairy Tale Ending dress is very similar with the fun hints of gold sparkle and lace overlay! Not to mention, the shorter length is perfect for one of MY favorite seasons coming up :)

Okay, so this dress to the left may not have been a fan favorite, but I love bow and the bit of personality it brought! This isn't a perfect similarity, but our Lady in Red Dress by Samuel Dong accents the neckline in a similar way, and is SUPER figure flattering with the tie around the waist. We can totally see this dress making an appearance somewhere like the Golden Globes. So classy, so fabulous.

Mint, mint, mint! I can't say enough how popular of a color this is going to continue to be! We loved Reese Witherspoon's Mint maxi dress last night. This color is just fabulous and looks great on so many skin tones. We have to be honest though, with summer coming up we are obsessed with our Bahamas Bound Maxi Dress, and all of the places you will be able to wear it!

Long, chic, and RED. Lupita Nyong'o absolutely stunned the red carpet last night in her beautiful floor length gown! Red looks beautiful on everyone, but the addition of the exposed shoulders and neckline made this dress go from beautiful to gorgeous! Our Flourish pick is our Hot Tamale Dress that adds a little "WOW" with the exposed shoulders and slit to the knee. This is the kind of dress that you will keep for years to come for many company Holiday parties!

Were you not able to catch any of the event last night? Here are a few of the important nominations and who won!!
Best Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical- American Hustle
Best Animated Film- Frozen (yay!)
Best Actress in Motion Picture- Amy Adams "American Hustle"
Best Actor in Motion Picture- Leonardo DiCaprio "The Wolf of Wall Street"
Best TV series drama- Breaking Bad
Did you have any favorites from last night? A personal fave for me was T.Swift's two tone gown that was both simple and elegant! On to the Oscar's on March 2nd where we will hopefully find more Flourish look-a-likes!
