#WCW: Our Model Madeline

Our #WCW for this week is our fun model Madeline! She comes to us from Saint Mary's College where she is studying Elementary Education! Originally from a suburb of Chicago, we couldn't be happier to have Maddy here in the Hoosier state!

When we asked Maddy what she likes to do for fun, she simply replied, "All things dance!" If you can't tell in how beautifully she poses in our clothing, Maddy is a dancer and loves to do that during her free time. She is on the Pom Squad at the University of Notre Dame even!

"Simple, classic, and relaxed," are the three words she uses to describe her style. Though we LOVE to dress her in all things glam during shoot days, you can totally see her love for relaxed outfits when she steps in front of the camera in a cozy sweater. She may have just answered this question just for brownie points...and we can't deny that she gained quite a few for the response. When we asked her what her favorite part about modeling for Flourish was, she said, "I love bonding with the Me(a)gan's! They're adorable and so funny." ((swoooon)) We LOVE you, too, Maddy!

#WCW: Our Model Taylor!

Our Woman Crush Wednesday this week is one of our favorite smick chick's (but not our ONLY favorite smick) around, Taylor! She is a current Junior at Saint Mary's College and is in the midst of soaking up college life. We get to steal her away every week during model shoots and have such a blast!

Taylor describes her style as being Trendy, Fun, and Feminine and we couldn't agree more. Though it can be pretty easy to not dress up during the middle of the week when you go to an all-girls school, Taylor ALWAYS shows up to shoots in the cutest styled outfits. Luckily her style is also mirrored in the items we pair her in!

Fun fact: One of Taylor's favorite accessories is the Pink Pepper Spray (has to be pink to stay on trend!) she carries in her purse at all times. Smart girl!

When we asked Taylor what her favorite part about modeling for Flourish was, she said, "The best part about modeling at Flourish is that I get to hang out with some incredible people for a couple hours a week and basically play dress up! I love getting to try on and pose in a bunch of different outfits! Plus, it allows me to escape from my hectic life for a couple hours and just have fun!"

#WCW: Our Model Katlynn

This weeks Woman Crush Wednesday is our gorgeous model Katlynn! Originally from Buchannan, Michigan, Katlynn joins the fleet of Flourish girls who are also Saint Mary's Belles! We having been crushing on Katelynn for a few years now and you can see why! Look at how cute she was when she first started modeling for us almost TWO YEARS AGO! 

When Katlynn isn't studying for finals or working with the Miss America Organization (she was Miss Blossomtime 2013!), you will find her relaxing with family and friends or catching up with her fav shows on Netflix. Check out this gorgeous headshot of her for her upcoming pageant in October!

One thing that we LOVE about Katlynn is her love for Flourish and friends! Here she is wearing a Flourish romper and headband with her bestie for the restie and Flourish model Roxie!

Katlynn's three words to describe herself also describe her personality! Classy, bold, and fun are her three words for style and we couldn't agree more. She is SUCH a fun person to be around and such a classy lady.

I started modeling my junior year of high school so I have also gotten the opportunity to watch Flourish grow into the raging success that it is today. Vanessa is one of the most hard working and kind people I have ever met and it is truly an honor to be a part of her journey."

#WCW Our Model Joy!

Whether you are a new fan or someone who has been shopping Flourish for awhile now, you will recognize this face! Our WCW this week is none other than our fabulous model Joy! We have been blessed to have Joy as one of our Flourish models since June of last year and I was able to dig up one of her FIRST EVER pictures with Flourish! (#socute)

Joy's last Flourish shoot was TODAY and we are already missing her to pieces. She is leaving us for the sunshine state where she will be attending college in the Fall and we couldn't be more excited for her! Though we will miss her dearly, Florida is so lucky to have her :) As much as we love Joy, we know she loves Flourish just as much. Here is Joy wearing an adorable Flourish find!

When we asked Joy what she loved most about modeling for Flourish, she said, "There's so many good things about modeling at Flourish. Let's see, all the amazing ladies I have met throughout the past year, as well as being able to support V as her dream comes true, and I just love modeling at Flourish because it makes me feel so beautiful and I'm going to miss it so much...WAH!" We will miss you, too, Joy!!

#WCW: Our Model Rachel!

This week our #WCW is gorgeous Flourish model, Rachel! She comes to us from Mishawaka, where she is currently obsessed with her new Goldendoodle puppy, Jade! She has only been modeling for us since April, but we have been so blessed to have her around! Here is a picture from when she first started modeling :) 

We asked Rachel to describe her style in three words, and she said, "Sassy, Classy, and Colorful!" We couldn't agree more. Check out how adorable she is in this colorful and classy dress!

A fun fact about Rachel is that she is going to school to be a Dental Hygienist. Funny fact: she ALWAYS carries a portable toothbrush in her purse!

We always love having Rachel around because she is so easy to work with and such a genuinely sweet person. She is always so willing to jump in where she is needed and always has a smile on her face! When we asked Rachel what the best part about modeling for Flourish is, she said, "The BEST part about modeling for Flourish is getting to know all of the beautiful girls I get to model/work with"

WCW: Our Model Caitlyn!

If we told you we don't crush on this weeks WCW, we would be lying. Our model Caitlyn, a recent graduate of Bethel College, will soon be one of your favorite people after reading all about her! Check out her first picture at Flourish--stunning! 

We loved having Caitlyn so much at our most recent Lookbook shoot titled, "American Beauty," we put her on the front page! 

Not only is Caitlyn an awesome person, she is also an AMAZING artist! We love following her Instagram and seeing her newest pieces she creates. We just HAVE to brag about one of her latest posts-- check out her first solo mural piece!! In l.o.v.e.

When we asked Caitlyn what her favorite part about modeling for Flourish was, she said, "Just being around the whole Flourish team, all you ladies are so awesome & uplifting...which has been a blessing for me, especially when I started modeling on crutches. Flourish has such a positive impact, not only on myself but on so many other women & I'm incredibly thankful to be a part of that." We are SO blessed to have Caitlyn on our team, as well!

#WCW: Our Model Keaonna!

So excited that this weeks Woman Crush Wednesday is none other than our model Keaonna!! Keaonna is a rising Senior at Concord High School and is one of our longest standing models to date! Here is a picture of her from when she FIRST started modeling for Flourish!

Keaonna always shows up to shoots ready to rock it. A natural model, the photographer loves having Keaonna around because she just poses herself and always looks adorable!

While perusing her facebook, you'll see tons of cute pictures of her with her friends, all dolled up. Then you'll see Keaonna in a different light; on the basketball court! Keaonna is always either on her way or coming from some sort of basketball event. Don't let her size fool you, this girl LOVES basketball and kind of rocks at it.

When asked what her favorite part about modeling for Flourish is, she said, "having the opportunity to meet new girls from different schools and getting the chance to learn new things from all the different personalities the girls have. I love the fashion Flourish has and love the styling and it gives me tips on how to style myself." We couldn't agree more that she has been getting some fantastic Flourish styling tips! WCW: Our Model Morgan!

Though Morgan's term with us at Flourish will be ending soon, we can't help but crush on her from afar! Here is a peek at one of Morgan's very first pictures with us back in December. 

Morgan is originally from Southwestern Michigan, but is local, so to speak, by attending the University of Notre Dame! She just graduated this past month with her degree in Marketing. She will take her talents and beautiful face to Chicago in July!  Crossing our fingers she still stops in for a visit on her way to Michigan from Illinois since we are the PERFECT in between point!

One thing that all of us Flourish girls love about Morgan is her hilarious personality. She never fails to have everyone around her in stitches within 5 minutes from something that she said. Before she left she was able to participate in our American Beauty Lookbook and beautiful she was! Check out a few of these candid Morgan shots from the shoot:

We can't decide is Morgan stuck around for the modeling or for boutique owner Vanessa's little pup Bentley who she was OBSESSED with. And trust us, the feeling was mutual. It was love at first site for these two.

#WCW: Our Model Elizabeth

We may be just shy of being without Elizabeth for a month, but we just couldn't help ourselves when we realized that Elizabeth is our WCW this week! Here is a peek at one of Elizabeth's FIRST pictures with Flourish this past December!

Elizabeth is a recent University of Notre Dame graduate with a degree in Marketing! This girl has been all over the map and will continue her adventures in San Fransisco this summer as she heads West for her first career at LinkedIn. We have been blessed with beautiful AND incredibly intelligent ladies to represent Flourish Boutique! 

Elizabeth has been our perfect representative for Flourish since the start of her modeling! At every event, you will more than likely see her in something Flourish and she said on her last day that we won't have to worry about that changing! "I will sincerely miss the store, but know flourishboutique.com will quickly become one of my "most visited" sites."

Women Crush Wednesday

Jenna Dewan-Tatum

Some may not recognize the name, but Jenna is in fact Channing Tatum's wife (jealous). Jenna started her career as a backup dancer for Janet Jackson, and later worked with other big artists like P!NK, Missy Elliot and Christina Aguilera. She is best know for her role in Step Up opposite her husband, Channing.

A little less than a year ago, Jenna and Tatum welcomed their daughter, Everly Elizabeth Maiselle, to the world! Even pregnant, Jenna rocked the baby bump. Pregnant or not, this girl has style! Not only do we have a crush on Channing Tatum, but we have a major women crush on his wife, Jenna! Check out some of our favorite outfits of hers next to items we have a Flourish!

Our Creamy Dreamy Lace Dress looks just like the dress Jenna is wearing. This dress can be worn to SO many events. Whether it is graduation ceremony, graduation parties, wedding rehearsals, or baby showers! We think Jenna's cute headband really finishes off the look.

Jenna's cute, yet casual look is adorable! The way she paired an over sized sweater with tights, boots and fun scarf is adorable!!  This look is great for hanging out with friends or a day shopping in the city! These dresses are very much in style right now! It's a dress, but looks like a skirt and top! Jenna's dress is matched perfectly with a pair of orange heels & we are loving the colorful clutch! Here at Flourish we have a similar dress but with a little extra PEP! This dress can be worn to work, out with friends or a date night with the hubby!

Maxi dresses are such a necessity in any closet! We love Jenna's stripped maxi paired with an over sized brown tote bag! Get a similar look like Jenna here at Flourish! Sequin blazers are very much in right now, and clearly Jenna knows that! Her blazer looks so HOT with leather pants. We styled our Glamour Becomes her Sequin blazer with a pair of jeans for a more casual look. This outfit is perfect for a night out! 

Jenna is very in-tune with the fashion world. Her style is classy, yet super cool and fun! We are always interested in what she is going to wear on the red carpet or when she is out with Channing (Still jealous)!

WCW: Lauren Conrad

We all know Lauren Conrad or "LC" from our MTV loving days where she starred in the reality TV Series "Laguna Beach." We ever so ashamedly (or not) followed her after high school and throughout college, breakups, internships, and trips to Cabo. We cried with her when Stephen chose Kristen Cavalari over her (silly choice), cheered her on during the infamous Spidey altercations (we've just given up on Heidi), and backed her on her awesome Justin-Bobby nickname choice. Oh, those were the days. 

Now LC…uh, Lauren, has blossomed into an amazing author, woman, and fashionista. At the age of 27, she has eight published works, three fashion lines, and a handful of charities she works with. 

 She is every girls fashion inspiration. While browsing the internet you can find her in every cute dress imaginable or lounging in comfy-wear that is still stylish. Luckily, we have found so many cute outfits of Lauren's that we can mirror from Flourish! 

We start with her Lace Sweater from the LC Lauren Conrad line. What a gorgeous way to play up the simple sweater look. With an extra addition of the lace, this not only adds a little length and elongates the torso, but is an easy way to dress up without having to do anything! Like we said before, Lauren is involved with countless charities from soles for souls to her newest online store The Little Market.  In many countries, including here in the United States, sex trafficking is a current and real issue. In third world countries, homes have been established to rescue women from a life of sex trafficking and teach them necessary traits to equip them for a sustained life outside of trafficking. Women are taught various crafts, how to cook, and general education. Conrad took this a step further and opened her online store called The Little Market to help these women by selling their handmade pieces. This store carries anything from handmade wrapping paper, to aprons, to dolls.  Read more about her shop here.
