Woman Crush Wednesday- KATE MIDDLETON!!!

Everyone is talking about her right now and we are, too! I am a huge fan of the royals, especially of the young royals, and now that there is a new heir, royal frenzy has stepped up a notch. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge just welcomed and named their son. Here is a shot of the new parents and Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge:

I picked Kate for WCW today because she did just have a baby, but also because she really is a woman to have a crush on. Her life is a fairy tale, and she just happens to be ultra-stylish. She opts for more conservative styles so you can often see her in sheath dresses, blazers, scarves, and the famous British hats. Her classic style matches her classic good looks. Here are some ways we copied her outfits:

Black (or grey) and white are two of Flourish's favorite colors, but Kate looks great in them too! Here are two dresses she was spotted in, and some ways you can get her look at Flourish.

Top Left: Picture Perfect Dress
Bottom Left: Aubrey Hepburn Dress
Middle: Gossip Girl Dress (Blazer is Sold Out)
Top Right: Perfectly Poised Dress
Bottom Right: Classic Shift Dress

Here is the Duchess in a beige patterned dress matched with our curvy model and some beige dresses from Flourish that also have a little bit of detail. To really copy Kate's look you will have to master her ability to always choose neutral accessories. The black belt she has chosen (she is also wearing black shoes) completes her look and is spot on with her conservative style.

Top Right: Proud to be Preppy Dress
Bottom Right: Storybook Romance Dress

Kate is also the "queen" of blazers. She can dress them up or dress them down and still look great. Here are a couple of her looks and some of our blazers and cardigans that are similar the Duchess's.

Left: A casual look           Right: Formal Wear
Top Left: Maiden Voyage Cardigan
Bottom Left: Sweet Mint Jacket
Middle: Cut it Out Jacket
Right: Sweet Safari Jacket

And last but not least, another thing we love about Kate is that she recycles her outfits, especially her shoes. She gets a lot of flack from the media about this, but we like it. If you have great pieces in your wardrobe there is no reason that you can't mix up your accessories and wear them again and again. And with classic pieces like these, they should stay in style for years! Here are two photos of Kate in the same dress that we matched above, but in different years with different accessories.

Woman Crush Wednesday! -- Jennifer Lawrence

It's Wednesday and you know what that means! Another Crush! This time it's Jennifer Lawrence, aka J-Law. For those of you who don't know who she is (where have you been?!) you might recognize her as the actress from The Hunger Games or from Silver Linings Playbook. You might also remember when she fell up the stairs at the Academy Awards getting an Oscar for her role in that movie. What made me crush on her so much was how she reacted- grace, poise, and a little humor. Gotta love that in a celebrity.

She also happens to be drop dead gorgeous, with a killer attitude, and awesome style. Here are just a few looks that we love and how you could style them from some of our favorite things at Flourish.

There are a couple of things we love about this outfit: 1- she understands the importance of a great white top 2- she doesn't underestimate the power of flared jeans. White tops, especially tanks are great because they go with literally everything! And they're great for layering. Flared jeans are often passed over for skinnies these days, but they still look incredible with heels for a more comfortable dressy jean look. Here are some ideas from Flourish.

Top Left: Seven For All Mankind Flares- Jiselle Earheart
Bottom Left: Kut- Medline Trouser Jeans
Middle: Seven For All Mankind- The Dojo in New York Dark
Right: Seven For All Mankind- Kaylie Bootcut in New York Dark

Top Left: Chic Simplicity Top
Bottom Left: Thumbelina Top
Middle: Neon Noveau Top
Right: Great Lengths Blouse

Try either style separately or put them together for a great outfit!

Opting for a dressier look here, Jennifer picks a red and white patterned dress. We not only love the pattern, but also the cut. This fit and flare is so flattering and uber girly! Of course we have a few similar styles in the store!

Left: Ancient Artistry Dress
Middle: Daisy Chain Dress
Top Right: Ice Cream Social Dress
Bottom Right: Try Some Tribal Dress

P.S. Some great nude pumps would look FANTASTIC with all of these :)

Last but not least, an LBD. Not much we need to say about this, but doesn't she look great?

Copy Her Look: The Bachelorette Edition

A few of us ladies at Flourish are big fans of the ABC shows, The Bachelor & The Bachelorette, and when we found out that Desiree Hartsock would be this summer's bachelorette, we were uber thrilled! It's easy to love her. Her story is about as close as you can get to Cinderella's, and you can't help but cheer her on to find love.

One of my favorite parts of the show is seeing all of the different outfit selections. Between the multiple dates and rose ceremonies, the number of new clothes featured is vast-- because we all know that you'd never see the same outfit twice. Des is only into her third episode, but we've capture some of her looks thus far, but trust me, there are plenty more outfits to be seen!

A few things we've learned about Des' style: she is a bit of a tomboy, she likes the color red, she likes her dresses short, and she likes sparkles. Regardless, she always looks beautiful and classy with whatever she's doing and she definitely has a good sense of fashion. She even designs her own dresses from time to time. Here are a few outfits to help you copy her look!

This photo was the first time America was introduced to Des, and it sums her up pretty well: simple and classy. This also shows her love for bold colors, which works well with her dark features.

Although this outfit was worn during a scene where they were shooting a music video, she still looked adorable. Denim is coming back into style, and she wore the denim vest and cut off shorts very well. This is a very cute look, especially if you're heading to a country music concert!

Des wore this outfit to an interview on Extra TV and we were so thrilled to see her strutting this skirt! With her athletic build, Des has great legs and loves to show them off with skirts and short dresses. But we probably would too if our legs looked like hers. She also appears to be a big fan of tribal styles, as we've seen her in a few other outfits with a similar look.

Again, she loves red and short dresses. So naturally, the first outfit she wore on the season premiere was this little red number. When you live in California, it is more conducive to dress wearing year round. However, the ruffled tunic featured below can be worn with or without leggings.

We'll keep you up to date on Des' fashion selections during the season. But so far, we're lovin' it! Oh, and she has some nice boys to go on dates with too!

Copy Her Look: Blogger Edition

There are so many great fashion bloggers out there and today we've pulled three of our favorites! Wendy's Lookbook, Atlantic-Pacific, and Pink Peonies are always featuring trendy and adorable outfits on their blogs. Today we've featured great outfits from all three bloggers and put together some looks to copy their adorable style!

Colored crops, like Wendy's Lookbook, are all the rage. And when combining colors such as mint and rose, it's hard to not love it.

This is an adorable look from Pink Peonies while she was in Cabo for vacation. The tribal print and statement necklace are in trend for the summer.

A dress and blazer, like Atlantic-Pacific, is a easy, comfy and fashion friendly everyday outfit. Especially with warmer days coming, throwing a blazer over a dress can be great for cooler moments or night time outings.

Copy Her Look: Springtime Styles

We're constantly hearing about what celebrities are wearing. Award shows, movie premieres, an afternoon out shopping-- so much time is spent highlighting their style. But for most, buying and shopping at the same stores as most celebs, isn't an option. So, we've done the work for you and created three different looks from current fashion icons.

Since becoming the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, quickly become a trendsetter and her classic look isn't about to go out of style soon. These three simple pieces complete the duchess' laid back look.

Since her Spice Girl days, Victoria Beckham has been a fashionista regardless of what she's up to. Here she dresses up a casual look perfect for any fun outing.

Last but not least, Taylor Swift is know for her long legs and powerful voice. When she's not dressed for the stage, she spends most of her time in dresses and skirts. Pairing a floral sundress with a cardigan captures Taylor's look.

Now you can look just like the celebrities without paying a fortune!
