WCW: Selena Gomez

This weeks WCW is Selena Gomez! Whether you recognize her from her long time relationship with Justin Bieber (who needs to pull himself together), her wide range acting career, or her most recent break through to pop radio with "Come & Get It" and "Slow Down", Selena seems to be everywhere lately! At 21, Selena's sense of fashion is pretty different from many Hollywood stars with her casual outfit creations. On top of having fabulous style and a singing and acting career, Selena is known for doing a great amount of service and philanthropy work! These are all reasons why Selena is our Woman Crush this Wednesday! Here's a couple of ways we were able to recreate Selena's looks with some new arrivals from Flourish:

This casual spring look is a quick and easy combination! All you need is a cute warm-weathered dress, like the Lovin' Lace Maxi Dress at Flourish, and a cute denim jacket to throw over top for the breezy yet sunny days of April and May. A denim jacket is a great piece to be worn with a variety of dresses and tops this season, making it a closet must-have. 

Selena is a queen of little black dresses, but we love this one specifically! This short sleeved piece is just like our Pucker Up Dress, which is both simple and flattering. An LBD is the perfect opportunity to show off a new statement necklace! We love Selena's choice of wedge to complete her look. Luckily, we have tons of wedges online now as well! 

Selena's slightly dressier summer style is just as fitting! We love her sequin covered skirt, and have a couple of different ones for you to try to recreate her look with at Flourish! Women Crush Wednesday

Jenna Dewan-Tatum

Some may not recognize the name, but Jenna is in fact Channing Tatum's wife (jealous). Jenna started her career as a backup dancer for Janet Jackson, and later worked with other big artists like P!NK, Missy Elliot and Christina Aguilera. She is best know for her role in Step Up opposite her husband, Channing.

A little less than a year ago, Jenna and Tatum welcomed their daughter, Everly Elizabeth Maiselle, to the world! Even pregnant, Jenna rocked the baby bump. Pregnant or not, this girl has style! Not only do we have a crush on Channing Tatum, but we have a major women crush on his wife, Jenna! Check out some of our favorite outfits of hers next to items we have a Flourish!

Our Creamy Dreamy Lace Dress looks just like the dress Jenna is wearing. This dress can be worn to SO many events. Whether it is graduation ceremony, graduation parties, wedding rehearsals, or baby showers! We think Jenna's cute headband really finishes off the look.

Jenna's cute, yet casual look is adorable! The way she paired an over sized sweater with tights, boots and fun scarf is adorable!!  This look is great for hanging out with friends or a day shopping in the city! Salt & Peplum Dress

These dresses are very much in style right now! It's a dress, but looks like a skirt and top! Jenna's dress is matched perfectly with a pair of orange heels & we are loving the colorful clutch! Here at Flourish we have a similar dress but with a little extra PEP! This dress can be worn to work, out with friends or a date night with the hubby!

Maxi dresses are such a necessity in any closet! We love Jenna's stripped maxi paired with an over sized brown tote bag! Get a similar look like Jenna here at Flourish! Jenna is very in-tune with the fashion world. Her style is classy, yet super cool and fun! We are always interested in what she is going to wear on the red carpet or when she is out with Channing (Still jealous)!

Woman Crush Wednesday-- Carrie Underwood!

It is my pleasure to introduce a new blog series from Flourish: 

Woman Crush Wednesday! 

We decided to highlight a few of our favorite women and look at not only their success, but also their serious style!

The first one we've chosen is Carrie Underwood. 

This country crooner won my heart when she was first on American Idol, but her career has since skyrocketed to monumental proportions. She just finished her international Blown Away tour, and we have been blown away by almost everything about her. 

Carrie and her husband Mike Fisher are getting ready to celebrate their 3rd wedding anniversary, and they have somehow managed to keep their love strong despite their time spent apart. He's quite the stud athlete for the Nashville Predators, ya know.

Whether she's performing at the Opry or just walking around town, Carrie always looks amazing. Here are a few of our favorite Carrie looks paired with some of our favorite pieces from the store so you can look just as good as she does!

In these first two outfits Carrie combines a few of our favorite things: Black & White, Chevron, and Stripes! Perfect for any seasons, as Carrie shows us, you can wear these dresses with some leggings or tights to stay nice and warm or you can show off those gams to keep cool in the spring and summer.

With so many Black and White options available in the store now, I chose just a few for this post, but you'll have to make sure to check out our website for the full range of options! These dresses range in sleeve length, hem length, and stripe or chevron design, but they all have one thing in common: Black & White. This trend has been so popular this year, and you can work it just like Carrie!

Carrie chose an adorable white cotton tank dress for this performance, and she looks absolutely adorable. White sundresses are a sweet, feminine look that is absolutely perfect for summer. Whether you're belting it out on stage or just going out on the town, they are an easy, cool summer look. We've put a couple of our favorites here next to Carrie.

Last but not least, JEAN SHORTS! These seem to be some of Carrie's favorites because she wears them all over the place! (Nashville doesn't have quite the same winter as we do here in Granger, though.) Whether strutting her stuff on a red carpet or running errands around town, Carrie dresses her shorts up or down to keep cool and show off her famous legs! Nuts About NEON!

We are going absolutely NUTS about NEON! And it looks like the biggest celebs are too! One of the season's brightest trends is definitely neon, and who knows that better than some  the biggest stars in the brightest city? Check out how Hollywood's greatest are doing the neon trends and how we are keeping up with them here at Flourish.

Kardashian Alert! Kris was out and about with this neon yellow bag, which looks a lot like our green one. We also read the mind of Nicky Hilton with the neon pink cross body bag. These two celebs paired their neon with simple black outfits for a pop of color, which is a great idea for a subtle neon outing. Don't be shy to pair them with colors or even wear two neons at once! Summer is all about bright, fun fashion!

Speaking of Kardashians, Momma Kris isn't the only one loving the neon trend. Kim was seen out and about wearing yellow as well. That color must be a family favorite. She wasn't afraid to pair her neons with other colors, and you shouldn't be either! Try a yellow top with a blue skirt like she did, or pick any color you like. The point is to have fun with it! Another HUGE trend? Neon Pink! Pink seems to be the most popular shade of these fun colors both in Hollywood and at Flourish. Celebs like Blake Lively, Emma Stone, Sarah Jessica Parker, Beyonce, and Lady Gaga are sporting this color in all different aspects of their outfits. From dresses to shirts, lips to hats, this one is popping up everywhere!

It's also popping up everywhere at Flourish. You want a neon pink dress? Necklace? Tank? Skirt? Watch? We have them all! You could literally wear this as ANY part of your next outfit.
