Woman Crush Wednesday!
We decided to highlight a few of our favorite women and look at not only their success, but also their serious style!
The first one we've chosen is Carrie Underwood.
This country crooner won my heart when she was first on American Idol, but her career has since skyrocketed to monumental proportions. She just finished her international Blown Away tour, and we have been blown away by almost everything about her.
Carrie and her husband Mike Fisher are getting ready to celebrate their 3rd wedding anniversary, and they have somehow managed to keep their love strong despite their time spent apart. He's quite the stud athlete for the Nashville Predators, ya know.
Whether she's performing at the Opry or just walking around town, Carrie always looks amazing. Here are a few of our favorite Carrie looks paired with some of our favorite pieces from the store so you can look just as good as she does!
In these first two outfits Carrie combines a few of our favorite things: Black & White, Chevron, and Stripes! Perfect for any seasons, as Carrie shows us, you can wear these dresses with some leggings or tights to stay nice and warm or you can show off those gams to keep cool in the spring and summer.
With so many Black and White options available in the store now, I chose just a few for this post, but you'll have to make sure to check out our website for the full range of options! These dresses range in sleeve length, hem length, and stripe or chevron design, but they all have one thing in common: Black & White. This trend has been so popular this year, and you can work it just like Carrie!
Carrie chose an adorable white cotton tank dress for this performance, and she looks absolutely adorable. White sundresses are a sweet, feminine look that is absolutely perfect for summer. Whether you're belting it out on stage or just going out on the town, they are an easy, cool summer look. We've put a couple of our favorites here next to Carrie.
Last but not least, JEAN SHORTS! These seem to be some of Carrie's favorites because she wears them all over the place! (Nashville doesn't have quite the same winter as we do here in Granger, though.) Whether strutting her stuff on a red carpet or running errands around town, Carrie dresses her shorts up or down to keep cool and show off her famous legs! We have quite a few options in the store right now whether you want a darker wash, a rolled hem, or a distressed look, you can find them all at Flourish!
P.S. Did we mention that Carrie's also a dog lover? Swoon :) We love her!
