What the Flourish Girls are Watching

Here are Flourish, we do enjoy our fair share of TV shows! It's not uncommon to hear "Oh, did you watch....last night?" around the store. Although there may be varying show preferences, there are a few that are common Flourish faves. One of those shows is Giuliana & Bill. Their newest season just aired this past Tuesday. Don't worry if you weren't able to tune in-- we'll catch you up!

Tuesday launched the sixth season of the reality show. This season's premiere was the biggest in the shows history. And if I had to bet, I would say it had something to do with the newest addition to their family, baby Duke. He was definitely a big hit. I mean, he is adorable. Plus, he is always very stylish, which isn't surprising when considering that his mom is a TV personality and co-host of Fashion Police.

 

If you're new to Giuliana and Bill, here is a brief summary of their reality TV lives. Bill Rancic deputed in the reality world when he was the first person "hired" by the Trump Organization on the show, The Apprentice. From that point on, he has continued his career as a successful entrepreneur and reality TV star. Giuliana Rancic is a TV personality and currently co-anchors on E! News and Fashion Police. The couple got married in 2007 and recently added to their family in 2012. One of the couples biggest on camera obstacles was their open discussion about their fertility issues, which led to the discovery of Giuliana having breast cancer. Despite these challenges, the couple continued to pursue other avenues and ended up using a gestational carrier to fulfill their dreams of having a child-- enter baby Duke!

 

The new season of the show is highly focused on Giuliana and Bill's new adventures in parenting. The first episode began with the couples discussion of potentially having another baby soon. Originally, the couple had decided that they wouldn't have another child until they moved back to Chicago, as they are currently living in L.A. for Giuliana's career. But low and behold, a beautiful house goes on the market on the same street which they used to live. Bill is sold!

 

A Chicagoan at heart, Bill is in love with the idea of moving back to their former street. He takes a tour of the house and cant wait to move. All he needs to do is figure out how to get Giuliana on board. After, G visits the house, the decision is made; the Rancics are moving back to Chicago. It was an eventful beginning of season six. You will have to tune in on Tuesday nights on the Style Network to keep up with the rest of their story.

 

One of the reasons why we love this show is because they are so darn adorable. Giuliana is always looking stylish and it's interesting to see her life behind the scenes as a TV personality. And you can always count on seeing some amazing outfit selections. Plus, the Rancics are about as down to earth as reality TV celebrities can be. With Bill's business sense and Giuliana's flair for life, they are a great dose of fun to watch!
